Points of Pride: Kathryn Crovak Kathryn Crovak, Nurse Manager at Excela, uses the Points of Pride Award System to show her fellow co-workers that they are valued parts of her team, and even for people who are not directly reporting to her. Crovak uses Points of Pride to exemplify her staff’s work that goes “above and beyond” their already excellent work ethic. This system enables her to send out personally created cards for a detailed gesture that showcases the great services and attitude of the staff. She also recognizes those not reporting to her specifically. Employees appreciate the personal cards given out for great work, and they know how much she appreciates them. sSe is always trying to brighten someone’s day by using the Points of Pride Award system, but she says there is not enough time in the day to do it all! To recognize and appreciate one of your staff members, visit Points of Pride on the Intranet page.
