Nursing Job Fair Excela Health is hosting an RN job fair Wednesday, December 4, 9 to 11 a.m. at Panera Bread, 105 Matthew Drive, Uniontown. Excela Health is hiring for a variety of nursing positions throughout the healthcare system. Tell a friend or family member to come and talk to a recruiter to learn more!
Excela Health has received positive feedback from the community in regard to the latest advertising campaign featuring the U.S. News & World Report badge. To continue to promote the national recognition for clinical expertise and high quality patient care the badge is now being included in email signatures. Everyone in Excela Health is encouraged to make this change to their signature. To access the new signature go the marketing tab on the intranet, select “Communications” from the list on the left and then select “Communications Tools” from the top center. Once there click on “Standard Email Signature Display” at the bottom off the page and follow the illustrated instructions to adopt the signature. Once completed send an email with your completed signature to EMA@excelahealth.org to be entered into a drawing! Emails must be received by December 3, and the winner will be announced in Excela Insight on December 5.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Update! On November 19, Washington EAP Services released a new online seminar free to Excela Health employees to understand the roles in being a part of the “sandwich generation”. This session offers coping strategies for caregivers facing pressures of family life, work and caring for an elderly relative. For access to the webinar, click here, using the password “excela” and navigate to the “Aging” tab, then click on “Caregivers”.
