In the News

In our local communities there are a surprising number of people at increased risk for disease/mortality as a result of their age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status or a disability. We can help! The Nursing Excellence Team invites ALL Excela Health Units/Departments to join together to support those suffering from Health Disparities in our area. Each area will make a coin collection container, marked with their charity of choice. The container should be kept in a location that is secure yet visible. While department staff collect money for the charity and ADD POINTS in the “WAR” by adding pennies and bills, staff from competing areas may add silver coins to the container, which will add to the charity, but DECREASE POINTS for that unit/dept. Submit Registration Form to NursingExcellence@excelahealth.org by July 5, 2022.
