Justice & Civic

Rendering - Diagramming - Concept/Schematic Design

During my internship at DLR Group, I worked in their Justice & Civic sector on medium to large-scale correctional facilities. Many of these projects were in Southern California, while others were out-of-state or international. The majority of the work that I produced during this internhip was created during the Concept and Schematic design phases of each project, with occasional work during the Design Development phase. Each of the images presented here were produced by me and are from the primary projects that I contributed to during my internship, with specific contributions listed in the image descriptions.

Working in this team was a special experience that allowed me to work along-side a talented team of designers who share the vision of reshaping what correctional facilities ought to be, and improving the standard of care with each new project. Working in this team was a well-rounded, thorough experience that helped me to be detail-oriented with my work, without losing sight of the big-picture.
