Green network theory

Green areas act as binding between functions in urban systems. When we examine the green areas; some green areas are Distributed greens and some green areas are Linear greens. It is used by a varying amount of people depending on the scale. Distributed green areas are distributed within the city as point and areal greens. Linear green areas show continuity in and around the city. They serve as the lung for the city. These green areas add strength to the city. They protect the city against disasters such as earthquakes, erosions, floods. It prevents the heating effect in the cities. When Distributed and linear are distributed and connected in the city, they create Green systems. When green areas do not show proper distribution within the city and do not establish connections with each other, Lack of green spaces and system occur.

and analyzes were made and synthesis maps were created in line with the analsynthesis maps in 2 phases and creating a scoring system, the most problematic giving 1-4 points according to the problem classes and the effect of the problem.

As a result of all these analyzes, the most problematic areas were determined. The designated areas are mostly composed of illegal housing and are located in slum areas.
