Evidence Phiri Group is an Architectural Design and and Research firm made up of young architectural design ers based in Southern Africa. The prime goal is to develop the urban scape of Africa through intelligent and modern Architectural intervention that suites the needs and desires of the space users.

Established in 2020, through a collaborative effort of architectural designers and urban planners, EPG has managed to execute a number of regional projects through invitation and collaboration. Driven by young minds, the designs and architectural outcomes push the limits of what we know, making the spaces rich in meaning as each building tells a story, a story that the clients and bypassers resonate with. Based in Zimbabwe, EPG is targeting to extend the realms of executed projects to the whole of Africa, inspiring designers to create rich narratives, consequently transforming the urban spaces of Africa.

EPG’s mission is to build aesthetically relevant designs that enrich the lives of the users as well as future users and reusers of the buldings in its lifetime. Our higher mission is to shape the world, through design, designs that respond specifically to the need of its users.
EPG is dedicated to transorming the lives of people through the medium of architecture and design. Our Understanding of the inherent qualities that are inherent in everysite and location allows for each design and scheme to be highly responsive and specific, inturn creating local and relevant designs.

This stems from the basic idea that, the sorroundings and the shape of the environment consequently affects the quality of life of the people who are daily exposed to it. Therefore Our design Philosophy is one that seeks to embody the aspirations of the community and of the society, while pushing the limits of what is possible and what is impossible. We believe young minds transform spaces, to spaces that are rich in meaning, spaces that are timeless while daily inspiring the users to live a little more.

The vision is to become the leading architectural design firm in Africa in the next future years, one that preserves the cultural and social values that the people hold fast while ushering in a new design taste in africa, beig led by the advances in technology. Through our research department, we are working on the improvement of the design process through Parametric design and Algorithmic design that helps designers and collaborators in the thinking process that make up the bulk of design. Our vision is to inspire the current generation of architects and designers to move aways from the redundant designs that mar the urban scape of our cities, to make Africa a Design led continent, driven by innovation and Experimentation.
Working on a wide array of projects (cultural, religious, residential, retail,healthcare, educational and urban planning), the cross pollination of ideas from one realm of construction to the other facilitate the emergence of new ideas, ideas that transform the spaces,to spaces that we would like to find ourselves and futer generations living in.

The spiritual lives hold a pivotal role in the shaping of many cultures and this fundamental role religion in the development of a human makes the design of religious spaces a serene and noble act. Having been involved in a few religious architectural projects, we managed to embody the spiritual realm in the physical space, bridging the connection betweeen the worshippers and the devine. EPG creates serene religious spaes by the use of natural materials and the intelligent play of light, making each spiritual experience devine and unbounded.

Evidence Phiri Group believes that all the design starts on the masterplan level. A poorely designed masterplan trickes down to the disordrly arrangements of the buildings and how people experience them. Therefore, the masterplans EDG designs are guided by the daily lives of the users, how they move from one zone the other, the interelation of buildings as well as creation of public spaces that bind all the buildings in space. Thereofre the masterplans becomes a binding element to the entire design and building that make up the entire scheme.

Using nature as a guide to the spatial arrangement of elements on the outdoor, the landscape design that EPG designs is one that creates natural spaces, spaces that respond to the natural context while molding and shaping nature for the betterment of the livelihood of those who daily encounter the spaces.

We believe the intimacy of the buildings we design is embodied in the interior design work that clads the interior. Using materials and textures that the users are able to res onate with, the interior desgin complements the context in which the building as locat ed as it perfoms its functional and aesthetic roles.
