Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15October 15) in the United States is the period when people recognize contributions of Hispanic Americans to the United States and to celebrate Hispanic Cultural Heritage and Hispanic Culture. Hispanic Heritage week was approved by President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period.
It was enacted into law on August 17, 1988 on the approval of Public Law 100-402. September 15 was chosen as the starting point for the celebration because it is the Anniversary of Independence of five Latin American Countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras & Nicaragua. They all declared Independence in 1821. In addition, Mexico, Chile & Belize celebrate their Independence days on September 16, September 18, & September 21, respectively. Hispanic Heritage Month also celebrates the long and important presence of Hispanics Americans in North America.

10 YEAR On September 11 (9/11) 2001 The age of innocence was over the events that took place changed the way our country would ever look at our safety and getting on a plane would never be the same. New York City, 2 World Trade Centers were attacked by Terrorists American Airlines Flight 11 was hijacked and hit the North tower at 8:46am Tuesday Sep 11th.

United Airlines Flight 175 was hijacked and hit the South tower at 9:03am. Arlington County, Virginia September 11, 2001 60 years after the buildings groundbreaking ceremony, the western side of the Pentagon was Attacked. American Airlines Flight 77 was hijacked and crashed and killed 189 people. Shanksville, Pennsylvania United Airlines Flight 93. In an attempt to regain control of the plane from hijackers the plane crashed into a field killing all 44 passengers including hijackers. The plane was headed to the White House in Washington D.C.

RS LATER It is storied that the plane was shot down by Military by direct order to shoot down any hijacked plane. Total fatalities in all crashes on that day was 3,000 including 19 hijackers and 6,000 injured. The Perpetrator (s) were Al-Queda led by Osama bin Laden. On May 2, 2011 Osama bin Laden died in a US Marines raid ordered by President Barack Obama. He was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan at age 53. Although many rejoiced at his death, it will not bring back the lives lost on that fatal day on Tuesday September 11, 2001. One day Imani just knew she wanted to Model. Imani considers herself to be a High Fashion Model. If Imani had to choose between playing sports, hanging out with her friends or modeling she says with no question, ―Modeling is it.‖ The things Imani has in her Model Bag are: water, pictures, heels, make-up, lip gloss, one piece bathing suit, notepad, comb, lotion, mints and a pen to write with. Well if you don’t know, well I have the Exclusive Story straight from her mouth! Well, Katrina was born, Katrina Bernice Mosley, to parents, Larry Sr. & RoseAnn Lilly Mosley and raised in Mobile, Alabama. She grew up in the back woods of Mobile County. She attended Catholic School from Kindergarten to 8th Grade then went to Public School for High School. She is an excellent Athlete winning Awards and Trophies for Track and Volleyball. She has always been a writer. She loved writing Poetry. At an early age she knew she wanted to write a book or have a Magazine because she was obsessed with the Jet & Ebony Issues that would be in her families Barber Shop. After High School she went on to become a Debutante and shortly after she joined the U.S. Army. She has traveled to many countries. While living in Korea she became she met a young man who was from South Florida, Nola Carter, and they became the greatest of friends. They were inseparable! They spoke often about having businesses and to make a long story short they are still great friends. Nola, his wife, Tisha, and Katrina all promote their businesses together. Well I will jump forward a bit because I cannot share everything about her. She gave me an advance Signed copy of her Book, The Katagious Life, and all I have to say is I did not close it once I started reading it. She can write and the book is very insightful. Okay, back on track! A few years after Korea, Katrina went to live in Europe for three years. While in Europe she of course traveled, but she also became fluent in Deutsch (German) and Spanish. She said they came in handy with living there for that long. While in Europe she became more and more obsessed with Magazines. Every Magazine she would purchase or look at she grew more and more anxious to have her own, yet for her it was not then nor is it now about the money. She believes that she was chosen to be the Publisher of the Much loved Magazine, Katwalk Planet. Jumping forward a little more, after serving her Military time. She moved back to Mobile and eventually moved to Huntsville, Alabama. She attended College and earned her Associates Degree in English. She was in Books-A-Million one day on her usually Magazine runs and she just stopped and took a look at the Covers of the Magazines. She immediately knew what needed to be done. This was also the first time she had gone in B.A.M. and did not purchase a Magazine. She instead went to the Business Section and purchased a book on Starting and Running a Successful Business. She went into as she called it, ―The Zone!‖ She came up with a name and Produced Seven Issues under the name Choices Magazine and then she was in a way forced to change the name. Some people had ―Borrowed‖ some ideas. Well her dream was still in play though. Remember I spoke of her friend, Nola. Well, Nola and his family live in the Atlanta area so Katrina decided to make a Powerful move for her business. She took steps back and changed the name and Business wise moved to Atlanta while still living in Huntsville attending College and she is currently in College pursuing Double Major Degrees Business and in Nursing.. 52

WOW! This Woman is SUPERWOMAN! After the name was changed things began to take off like a Million Rockets. She created the Magazine, Katwalk Planet to serve as a Stage to Unsigned, Unnoticed or Untouched Models, Artists, Poets, Designers, Writers. Every Aspect of our lives is like getting on a Stage everyday. Katrina says, ―Who do you get all dressed up for when you leave the house?‖ My reply was, ―Ummm‖ She quickly answered, ―For your Audience! You are on Stage even when you are at home. Your children watch and mimic your actions. The same as they do with Television. Only difference is you know when they are watching TV and yet we pay no attention to the fact they are watching you too at the same time.‖ One thing I wanted to know and I’m sure others wanted to know also why did she choose September 11th as the launch date for her Magazine. It seems like an odd day to choose. Katrina told me that I already know she is Soldier and that she was in Europe when the tragedy happened. She also told me that this is the date of her Wedding Anniversary and as many of you know she is not married now so she said she picked September 11th for these two reasons because she was no longer going to allow 9/11 to be a day to be only sad, but to also have a sense of new life. Katwalk Planet is involved with the fight against Domestic Violence as well with their Ad Kampaign B4B — Bandages 4 Bruises in which they donate a portion of their Advertising Dollars to their Charities. Last year she created a Perfume/ Cologne and Lotion Line, Katagious. One day she was sleeping during the day just after the launch of one of the issues and she had vision of her own Clothing Line and she has made that come to life as well with the first Collection launching later this year. On their Anniversary, Katwalk Planet will also launch a New addition to their family, KP Stage, which is geared toward the more risqué viewers. Katwalk Planet is also the Publisher of the Young Men’s Magazine, Black Boy Society, out of Atlanta, Georgia. Katwalk Planet is set to Launch a Magazine for an NFL Trainer coming in 2012. As you can tell this Woman is a force to be reckoned with. She does A LOT and she goes hard for days at a time and keeps going. Check her out. Sit and talk with her. Undefeated TV is a Web-Based Show focusing on the Growth and Promotion of Unsigned Talent. Undefeated TV was started in September of 2010. The Owner Undefeated TV, Big Cicel had the Idea of doing something for Unsigned or Under-rated Talent. With some careful consideration and Research Undefeated TV was created. While they focus primarily on Unsigned Talent, Big Cicel describes, ―Nowadays it’s hard to find someone that will help you gain exposure. You either have to have a HIT behind you name or Piggyback off someone else’s Fame. I want to change that. IF I can take that same Artist and help them to achieve their Goals then that’s one step of Honor.‖ Big Cicel feels that no one pays attention to the Artist, but at Undefeated TV the Artists are the main priority. The Undefeated TV Team is Solid. Big Cicel’s Wife, Sharrie Montalvo is the Company’s Booking Agent and has many other functions. She also takes calls, schedules appointments with the Artist as well as Search the Internet for Talent. Big Cicel says, ―She is the Best and Only Person for the Position.‖ She knows what to look for better than anyone he know. Also involved with the Undefeated TV Brand is C.E.O of Undefeated Entertainment, Clarence Neal, DJ Cee oversees some of the decisions and provides feedback on them. He is a great Asset to the Ideas made by Big Cicel. There is also C.F.O., Oswald Cubilette and Cameraman, Arnold Irizarry. Big Cicel explains, ―This is a Family Oriented Business and I can’t see it being any other way.‖
Undefeated TV is also involved with Big Name Acts as well. They have worked with such names as, French Montana, Currensy, Tony Moxberg, JadaKiss, Sheek Louch, DJ Webstar, Fred The Godson, Piff Unit, Juelz Santana and the List Continues to Grow. When they made the transition to showcase the Big Names, their goal was simply to obtain connections to further the growth of unsigned talented Artist as well as show that there are some good Big Name Artist that are all about unsigned Talent. Big Cicel says, ―If that Big Name person is not interested in the growth of unsigned Talent then I don’t do business with that person, Period.‖ Undefeated TV just introduced a TV Show just recently to showcase Unsigned Talent Videos and gives the viewers the opportunity to rate the performance of that song. Basically the fans that tune in get to rate it, ―Bump It or Dump It‖, and at the end of the Day it is constructive criticism. Who better to tell you to step it up than the person who is potentially going to purchase your Album and Actually listen to it. Artist Development is the Key of Undefeated TV Live. They are looking to Cover as many aspects as they can for Unsigned Talent. With Undefeated TV and Undefeated TV Live They have achieved a great Deed to the Music Community.
