Connecting YOUR VISION to Real Exposure!
The Founders GreetingsWe are so happy and humbled to finally share this vision with you. It has been a long time coming, but it has definitely been worth the wait. Through all of the ups and downs to the many changes to the concept we never stopped focusing on the mission. We truly hope you enjoy this event. Be sure to visit EVERY booth. We have personally spoken to every Vendor or Talent participating and they all are some strong and talented individuals. Of course we know you want to know about us. We were established in 2015. After some success as a Creative Director and Publisher of regional magazines and producing events for the past 20 years, Katrina soon discovered that she wore many hats; She was a Photography and Publisher. Quentin had skills in Marketing and Promoting events so their hearts lead them to combine their talents to create, Everything Life Brings Media & Consulting Firm to help individuals with their entrepreneurial growth. They knew that this vision was bigger than just Huntsville; therefore they joined forces with brother and sister-in-law (Larry & Charletha Mosley) who own a photography business in Mobile to launch the first Alabama Black Expo for the State with the
mantra of Connecting & Supporting The Empowerment, The Inspiration and The Movement! Brother and Sister both served in the U.S Military. Larry in the Air Force and Katrina serving in the Army. Katrina currently works for an organization housing homeless Veterans through a rapid re-housing program. The program also assists Veterans in need of homelessness prevention. Charletha works in the medical field. Quentin works construction and Larry followed in their father’s footsteps and works at the same shipbuilding company were their father retired. We all know the meaning of hard work and we bring together 20+ years of experience under our belts to bring you the Alabama Black Expo. We hope you enjoy this historic event. Thank you for supporting our dreams and yours!

DIONNE REEVES GRUBBS FULL FIGURED FIERCE
Full Figured Fierce is an organization created by Alabama Plus Model, Dionne Reeves- Grubbs, in March of 2012. Being a part of the Plus industry, she was approached by several women who have never or could not recognize their own beauty. Dionne knows all too well about the lack of self esteem and confidence because she struggled with her own. The best way to heal is by helping others. So, she formed Full Figured Fierce to be the alternative to their negative thoughts and images we see on social media, television and more by featuring full figured women in a positive light and challenging them to love themselves more everyday through processes she learned on her own journey.
www.EVERYTHINGLIFEBRINGS.com
The Runway Coach
Full Figured Fierce gained notoriety when they were recognized by Curves Supporter & Poet, Khari Toure, Admin of the online community, Curvy & Confident, formally Real Women Have Curves. Four years later, Full Figured Fierce celebrates curves by helping to motivate its followers to Love themselves more daily. One of the exercises that they ask their followers to participate in is to have “mirror time” and to write themselves a “ Love Letter”. The purpose is to look past all the negatives you may have heard in life and find five things you love about yourself. Then you must write yourself a Love Letter highlighting those qualities. Dionne did this exercise in Atlanta, Georgia at the Plus Positive Summit in 2014 where the owner of POSE Magazine, Tiffany Jones, wrote herself a Love Letter. She noted that it wasn’t as easy as some may think. Full Figured Fierce prides itself in promoting positive images of not only women but men as well. They have created a brother organization lovingly dubbed the Big Handsome Kings. It is their mission to change the negative views of the plus community in the media and in general. Dionne has made it her goal to reach as many hearts as possible by setting a goal of 5,000 followers. Our goal for 2016 was reached in May and we will make our 2017 by fall. It’s not about the likes but the Love for Full Figured Fierce.

Connecting YOUR VISION to Real Exposure!
In 2014, Dionne was awarded her own day in the city of Huntsville, AL. Full Figured Fierce Day is officially March 22. Each year since receiving such an amazing award, Dionne celebrates by putting on an annual charity fashion show. In past years, we have donated money to local charities in need of funding such as the Boys & Girls Club Seminole Drive, Operation Stand Down Huntsville which helps our homeless veterans return to the workforce by providing them with the necessities they need such as clothing, providing transportation, and training. In the upcoming year, they will donate the funds to Crisis Services of North Alabama who provide shelter to battered women and their children. Full Figured Fierce loves giving back to the young ladies in the community by mentoring to local high schoolers. We discuss the importance of confidence through model training which teaches them to always present themselves in a positive light, how to love themselves, and command attention and not demand it through classes they call Walk Like Her Modeling and Confidence Class. We don’t teach them to walk, talk or act like anyone other than themselves.

Speakers Huntsville District 1 City Councilman: DEVYN KEITH Devyn Keith was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, and is a proud product of its large community network. Devyn has always had a passion for public service and a deep connection to the residents of his community Devyn attended Samford University on a full athletic scholarship and obtained his Baccalaureate Degree in Human Development and Family Science. During his undergraduate career, his passion for community service led him to start a nonprofit called Brothers of 1 Voice or BO1V. BO1V aimed at educating, empowering and advocating for youths who have aged out of state support services. Devyn also attended McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, where he received his Master’s in Public Administration. While in Boston, Devyn worked in leadership roles at the nonprofit and state levels.
