Since our first show in Silverstone eight years ago, much has changed for the better, but the future feels more uncertain than ever. Yet one thing remains the same: electrification is a cheaper, better option for the overwhelming majority of us. In fact, the economics of electrics have only improved. If you’re fed up with fluctuating fuel prices, or exorbitant energy bills, the conflict in the Middle East is a stark reminder that we’re very vulnerable to overseas energy costs. You can insulate your friends and family from the cost of living crisis by investing in new or used battery EVs, which can save you a small fortune, often running into thousands of a pounds per annum (especially if you can charge at home on an overnight tariff). And if you’re feeling flush, you can generate and bank your own cheaper power at home, with solar panels and a battery. When it comes to bill-busting, Everything Electric WEST offers tech, talks and test drives aplenty.
■ B2B EV DAY (Friday 12th June) Note: All visitors can attend on this day, not only businesses
■ COMMERCIAL VEHICLE ZONE
■ THOUSANDS OF TEST DRIVES
■ THE VERY BEST EV BRANDS, including live reviews
■ DOZENS OF TALKS in the ELECTRIC THEATRE with expert advice and hosted by YouTubers like Robert Llewellyn & Dave Borlace
■ FESTIVAL OF ELECTRIFICATION companies offering home energy advice, from heat pumps to batteries and much more
■ KIDS ACTIVITIES!
■ MICRO-MOBILITY TEST TRACK
PLUS, if you’re a business leader the savings can be even more considerable, that’s why day one of our show is even more geared up to help all companies great and small to take advantage of the significant savings that electrification has to offer. Friday’s earlier sessions have been created to cater for those of you in the business community, as well as enabling you to access all the organic goodness of an Everything Electric festival, not least, the thousands of EV test drives and dozens of different models on display, a record outside of the Beijing Auto Show, and including many never seen before battery EVs. This show also includes ‘everything electric’ as the name suggests but shot through with family fun!
And not forgetting the fun-filled entertainment that has been the hallmark of our events over the last decade, we have an attraction-packed programme for you to enjoy:
Now, with 150,000 electric test drives delivered to date, we know that test drives are the quickest way to convert the fast and the curious to EVs. So if you’re an EV doubter, or if you know one, bring them along to Everything Electric WEST in Cheltenham to take a test drive or two. We’re so confident that a test drive will turn doubters to believers, that if you don’t enjoy the experience, we will refund the ticket price! After all, what have you got to lose? Well, apart from thousands of pounds from filling up with petrol instead!
See you on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th June at Cheltenham Racecourse, and a word to the wise, as this show is an outdoor-only affair, come prepared!
