With as much political uncertainty as we can ever recall, it's not unreasonable to ask where we're headed? We've seen some highs* and lows** of late, but at Everything Electric we remain steadfast: the future is all-electric!
Then, hold onto your hard hats… because on both Saturday and Sunday from 4pm, it all comes to life in the Zapheap Finale Race!
Be part of our live audience as teams from the episodes will battle it out live, with their weird, wonderful and wildly upcycled creations.
*The high-points have been very high; motor shows from Shanghai to Sydney have shown how far we've come, but Munich was the most-encouraging of all; wall-to-wall with brilliant battery EVs from Germany, and beyond.
**The lows have been tough to take. Trump's tariffs and the end of EV rebates in Canada, have caused a precipitous ~40% drop in EV sales there, and are a warning to the Western world that subsidies are good, tariffs very bad. What's more, when it comes to shooting yourself in the face, the long shadow of Brexit reigns supreme, and economic conditions in the UK mean that disposable incomes are at an all time low, sales growth of technologies like e-bikes and heat pumps have been hurt as a result. Nevertheless, Everything Electric SOUTH aims to put a smile back on everyone’s faces on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th, and it will…
With the new Electric Car Grant, we’ve seen increased interest in EVs and there’s simply no place in the UK where you can see as many – and test drive too – EVs in one location. At the current count we will have >110 different models on display, a record outside of the Shanghai Auto Show, and including many never seen before battery EVs. This show also includes ‘everything electric’ as the name suggests but shot through with family fun, and this year we add another unique aspect to the event: Zapheap!
