Sat 23 Sept 12pm

What a rollercoaster ride it's been for Andy and the Odd Socks. Andy and the band are proof that the great thing about life is that Odd Socks can make the greatest stars. So what's the odd story behind the Odd Socks? Well, he may be one of the most recognisable faces of kids TV, with hugely popular CBeebies shows like Andy's Wild Adventures and Andy's Safari Adventures making him a household name, but music has always been Andy Day's first passion. He grew up on classic artists like Ray Charles, Queen and Elton John, before embracing rock gods like Dave Grohl. Then one day, Andy had a vivid dream about starting a band in his mum's hometown of Barking that would take over the world, a dream so real that when he woke up, he knew he had to make that dream come true.

JUST MY IMAGINATION

Sat 7 Oct 7.30pm

Fifty years ago, The Temptations were sitting proudly atop of the American charts with the single Papa Was a Rollin' Stone.

The song was a notable change in direction for both The Temptations and the group's record label Motown Records. The tune featured more instrumental content than was the norm for a Motown song - and its lyrical content was a departure from those that had gone before, dealing with the social issues of the time.

Brand-new stage show Just My Imagination is coming to town and it brings all of The Temptations' top 20 songs - including Get Ready, My Girl, Just My Imagination and Papa Was a Rollin' Stone - to the stage.

Show producer Mark Halliday says that the song is the highlight of a production that has embarked on a UK tour that covers the whole of England, Scotland and Wales.
