Thank you for your consideration and for taking the time to read my profile My name is Robert, and I am honored and excited that you are considering me to be an adoptive parent. I have always dreamed of being a parent and helping to guide a child through the many challenges and obstacles in life both in childhood and beyond. I am excited to dedicate my heart and life to raising a son that helps them to achieve their dreams and for them to be as happy and successful as they can be
My desire to adopt and become a parent is down to my deepest wish and that is to have a family and to help guide a child to become the best versions of themselves. I am greatly looking forward to the opportunity to always be available to act as a mentor, guide them through the challenges they face, and most important to me is for them to understand that they always have a support system to fall back on as they reach for their dreams
GETTING TO KNOW ME
I was born in Gulfport, Mississippi and grew up around the area until I joined the Navy Soon after graduating In the Navy, I was accepted for one of the toughest academic programs in the military, the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program.
My time in the military saw me move all over the country and gave me the opportunity to diversify my experiences and grow to appreciate the different cultures all around the places I have traveled. It helped me to discover my love for traveling After spending time in South Carolina, New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Virginia, I moved to Washington for my final few years in the military. During this time, I finished my bachelor’s degree at Washington State University in Business Management Soon after this, I started a position as a Service Now Developer in the IT industry and moved to Idaho where I now reside and plan to stay.
My job as a Service Now Developer has been interesting, and I think it is a perfect fit for me as I love the challenge that it offers One thing about me is that I always love to tackle new challenges and to learn more. This desire led me to recently start pursuing my master’s degree from Boise State University which I currently am attending
My interests are varied with some of my favorite areas being sports, traveling, trivia and other brain teaser games, as well as occasional video games. I think all of these interests bring different aspects to my life.
Most of all though, I think sports and traveling are my top two interests, and I tend to watch or play many of the top sports in America with Basketball and Football being my top two. Video games have been a great way for me to stay in touch with friends that I have gained from across the United States while trivia and the other brain teasers have been a fun way for me to continue learning new things. Lastly, I think I am a kind and caring person who values the friends and family that I have in my life
WHAT MY FAMILY SAYS ABOUT ME
Robert has several qualities that come to mind, but those that should be most important are love, care and support. Robert, due to his up bringing, has learned to love unconditionally. He cares about family and has a great work ethic.
Robert is financially intelligent, and he will be able to provide for his family. He is a kind, warm hearted person that is also hard working and patient.
I believe that Robert will make an excellent dad.
MY FAMILY
My favorite family memories are some of the interests that I share with my parents. Specifically, I think some of the best memories I have with family is going to a couple of games of my hometown teams Everyone in my family has always been a big sports fan, and it is something that has always been one of the things that brings us together. Going to some games and enjoying those moments, win or lose, is always something that brings us together.
We have gone to quite a few games as a family be it the minor hockey league teams, minor league baseball, or the professional basketball and football teams in New Orleans. It is something that I think we all cherish our time together doing
Another of the traditions and holidays that I remember fondly are Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We always had a great time bringing the family together and celebrating those holidays As a kid, I remember we always had a large family gathering on Christmas Eve that was always fun even if all of us kids just ran around playing while the adults were talking. Thanksgiving was great as well with always having a large selection of great food and family around
LEISURE/ADVENTURES
My two favorite leisure activities are travel and sports For travel, I think first and foremost, that I enjoy seeing all of the differences in cultures between different places around the world and around the United States. I have been to many places in Europe, and I hope to take some trips to more places in Europe and Asia over the coming years. Each place that I have been to, I have found interesting in its own way with the cultures all having something that differentiated them that I found interesting to learn more about and discover on my travels
Traveling to see the vastly different cultures and yet still seeing the similarities of how we all want to live our lives was something that I have grown to appreciate. I think that it is such a valuable insight that I have gained during these trips I hope to bring that and help to grow the appreciation for different cultures to a child and help them see things from a different perspective
For sports, I think they are fun to watch as well as play. I think it is a great way to have fun while staying active. Watching professional sports to me is a great way to bond with friends and even if we didn’t support the same teams, we frequently would get together to go watch a game at one of our places Going to some of the minor league games for various sports was always a fantastic memory for me as a child, and I look forward to hopefully helping to create similar memories for a child as well
PROFESSION
My job as a Service Now Developer is a fulfilling job for me. The job entails implementationof the Service Now IT platform for clients in the various suites offered in Service Now, and is always interesting to me because the challenges vary every day.
One thing I have always enjoyed in life is always having a fresh challenge, and I think this job is great with that as every day can be completely different with what work needs to be done.
Another positive aspect of this job is that I work from home and this helps me with a better work-life balance
HOME
The neighborhood and home th y, p y Caldwell, Idaho The area is one of the fastest growing areas in the country Some of the things that brought me to the area are the beautiful sights of the area with mountains in each direction and a beautiful location with waterfalls a couple hours east. The area is becoming more and more diverse, and the growing nature of the area has led to improvements in schools as well as growing cultural opportunities while still maintaining many of the historical aspects in Idaho just a short drive away.
The yard of my house is decently sized and is something that I think will be plenty big enough for any kid to have fun playing in with friends The neighborhood itself is also very kid friendly with there already being quite a few families in the area with kids. The neighborhood has a playground a street over from the house in walking distance and can be a great little mini park to play in for the kids One of the interesting parts about the area to me is the number and quality of the parks with a lot of them having plenty of beautiful scenery as well as plenty to do.
