Dear Birth Mother, Thank you so much for making this selfless and loving decision. We also want to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and get to know us a little better.

We are Kailey and Jimmy and we are so excited to begin this journey. We have been married for three years and have always wanted to adopt at some point and be able to bless a child’s life. We initially planned on having biological children first, but after miscarrying two of our babies and struggling with infertility after as well, we feel that God is calling us to adopt now. We would take great pleasure in having the privilege to care for, love and cherish the sweet gift of life you are considering blessing us with.

About Us

We met right before we graduated from high school and had a long distance relationship while Kailey was in college. We dated for a year and a half before Jimmy proposed. and were then married nine months later. We got pregnant soon after we were married and miscarried our baby very early on in the pregnancy. We got pregnant again six months later and lost that baby very early as well. We have struggled to get pregnant since then and have gone to countless doctors. Through our grief and with a lot of work, we were able to grow closer as a couple and learn to lean on God and each other through hard times.

We strive to keep God at the center of our marriage and our lives. We are faithful Christians who are always looking for ways to serve in our congregation. We are very active and enjoy a plethora of different activities. We like to work out, whether that is lifting weights, going on walks, hiking, playing rec league sports, or conquering spartan races. We like to stay active all year round, even when we have lots of snow on the ground. We love to cook together and love hosting by having friends and family over.

Jimmy is a police officer and Kailey is a dental hygienist. We both really enjoy our careers and knew early on what we wanted to do for our careers. We both have flexible schedules that will make it easier to be able to be home for our children when needed. We have always longed to be parents and we pray that your decision will help us begin that journey.

About Kailey Kailey has been my best friend for over the past three years. She truly is my missing puzzle piece. Everything I am not, she is. Kailey is one of the most caring people that I know and does not hesitate to help anyone ever. Kailey is always offering to to do things for her parents, friends, co-workers, and our church. She always puts others before herself. Kailey loves letters and notes, so she will always make sure she gets a card for family and friends on their birthdays, mother’s day, father’s day, or just to say hi. From the time I met Kailey, I knew that she wanted to be a mom. She is from a family where all of the women had their babies at a very young age, so us going through infertility has been hard on both of us, but especially her. I don’t know anyone more deserving of motherhood than my wife. I can’t wait to see her face whenever she gets to hold our first baby. I know that she will make the most amazing mom. She is fun, outgoing, athletic, super competitive, and willing to do anything. I know I will have to fight her to see who will be the one to teach our kids to throw a baseball, or how to snowboard, or wakeboard, or ride a bike. Kailey is the love of my life and any baby would be blessed to have her as a mom.

I am a dental hygienist. I always wanted to do something in health care because I love helping other people. I am very passionate about my job and really do love going to work most days.

My office is always very busy and I love the speediness of being busy and staying on schedule. I thrive with routine and productivity. I also really enjoy getting to know my patients by building rapport and developing relationships with them. I thoroughly want my patients to enjoy their time at the dentist and for it to not be as painful as most people talk about it being.

This is also a really good career for being a mom. I plan on only working a couple days a week once we have children. I would like to work only days that Jimmy is not working so that we do not ever have to use child care. I feel very blessed to have the option to be home with my children and still be able to work in a career that I am passionate about at the same time.

About Jimmy I love how protective and loving Jimmy is. When he cares about someone, he will do anything for them and will do anything to protect them. He has a very level head and thinks very clearly about how he can be taking care of those that he loves. He will be an amazing provider and protector of our family and will always be looking after his children. He is also extremely hard working and determined. When he has his mind set on something, he will get it done, and he will get it done to the best of his ability. He is a very serious person but he has a playful side of him too that people do not normally see unless he has gotten close to them. But when that barrier is broken, he is such a fun and exciting person to be around and he normally has everyone laughing. So many of our friends’ kids and kids at church love Jimmy and always smile very big when they see him. Jimmy was a counselor for the little boys at Bible camp this year and those boys loved him. Jimmy definitely kept them in line and they really respected him, but anyone could tell that those boys had a blast being in his cabin. He is also a very rational person and thinks deeply about things before acting and I really appreciate that about him because he helps to balance me out. These traits would make Jimmy an amazing dad. With most of these characteristics of my husband, I am so thankful that he is the way he is because it makes us that much stronger of a team. Where I am weak, he is strong and vise versa and I know that will really help us as we become parents. When we are realizing that and working together, our marriage thrives and we are really able to be a team.

- Kailey I am a police officer with the Mills Police Department. Mills is a small town right outside of Casper, Wyoming, with approximately 5,000 people. My department is made up of 15 police officers. I would not pick any other occupation to make my career. I have always wanted to help people from the time I can remember, and I always wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps of being a cop. This job gives me the opportunity to help endless amounts of people. I love the interactions I get to have with kids, whether that is waving at them as they are riding bicycles, stopping and playing a little basketball or football in the street with them, or comforting them when they have just experienced the most traumatic event in their life. I enjoy having a part in making the community my future children will grow up in safer, even when that means putting myself in harms way.

Family

We love getting together with our family any chance that we can. Our family is very supportive of us and we love spending quality time with them. Our extended family does not all live in the same city, but when we are all together, we always have a great time. We like going to Oregon around Thanksgiving, which is where Kailey is from. One of our traditions is going Christmas tree hunting the day after Thanksgiving. We flew to Oregon last year and Kailey’s parents ended up taking three trees on the top of their car back to Wyoming. Around Christmas time, we go and get some hot chocolate and look at Christmas lights around town. For Mother’s and Father’s day, we always spend with our mothers and fathers if we are able to. We like to host holiday dinners at our house as well, but really just want to be with family, no matter where we are at.

When we are with our family, we are normally playing card games or some type of sport. We are very competitive so we always put our all into whatever we are doing. Some activities that we have played together are spike ball, pickle ball, volleyball, softball, basketball, snowboarding, wakeboarding and many more. We really try to do activities where we can all be involved in some way. We are also a family who really likes to eat. Whenever we have a family event, you can always count on good food being there.

Our church family is also who we consider family, and we spend a lot of our time with them. We have multiple fellowship events and Bible studies where we are able to grow these relationships. These people are who we go to for help or prayers or just simply to hang out with. We go to Copper Basin Bible Camp in Arizona every year and love the relationships that we build at this camp. We have known some people for many years and some for just one year and it is amazing how much of a family it is when we go each year. Kailey’s family went every year as they were growing up and that is something we want to continue as we have children.

Hobbies

We love doing anything active and pushing each other to try new things. We recently started doing spartan races and have loved pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone. We enjoy welcoming our friends and family into our home whenever we can. We figure that we have the space for it in our home so we love having people over. Kailey really loves to host baby showers and bridal showers for her friends and be able to celebrate that special time in their life. Jimmy likes to fish, hunt, and play golf occasionally. We have very busy lives, but we do take time to just relax and enjoy each other as well. Sometimes, watching a show and ordering pizza for just us two is exactly what we need and is so nice. We have made it a point to get away every year around our anniversary and plan to continue that every year, even if it is just for a couple of days. While we are on our anniversary trips, we still do all the things that we love to do and it is a good time for us to focus on our relationship with each other.

About Bear

Bear is a Siberian husky mix. We got him at 8 weeks old when we were newly married and lived in a small one bedroom apartment. Training a puppy really tested us and Jimmy thinks showed us who is going to be the pushover with parenting eventually.

Kailey was almost done with dental hygiene school when covid shut everything down so she was home all the time with Bear when we first got him. He is now over 2 years old and the absolute sweetest dog and will warm up to all of our friends very quickly.

He is an extremely smart dog and Jimmy was able to teach him a lot of tricks very early on. With that smartness is also his stubbornness. He thinks that he is tough and will act protective but really would not hurt a fly. We have lots of friends who have small children and he does very well around them and just lets them pet him.
