My name is Bre, and Grant is my husband. We have been together for 9.5 years, and of those 9.5 years we have been married for 7. We have been on a 7 year infertility journey that we never expected to be on, and we have decided that adoption would be the right path for us to start our family.
We are excited for this next phase on our journey to parenthood and are so blessed that you might be able to make our dreams come true!

Bre is the second of three siblings. She has an older brother Her parents adopted a child when she was 18, so she also has a younger sister. She was born in Oregon but has lived most of her life in Nebraska Her brother has 4 children and 5 bonus children that all live in Oregon
Grant is the oldest of his two siblings. He has a younger brother who is married with three children He grew up in Colorado until the family moved to Nebraska at the start of high school
We actually met on an online dating site about 9.5 years ago I thought he was cute to start and kept going back to read his profile, but I would never send a message He noticed how often I would check his profile and finally decided to send the first message since I obviously wasn’t going to be the first to make the move Lol!
We love to travel and enjoy visiting the local zoos wherever we are. We love trying new restaurants, going to concerts and are both sports fans (although we cheer for opposing teams in every sport!) We are huge animal lovers and have two dogs & three cats that were all rescues!
Bre has worked in customer service and Retail & Restaurant Management for most of her career. Currently she is in Small Business Sales for insurance at a large company in Omaha Grant has worked in warehouse & delivery positions as well as Retail Management He currently works for the Nebraska Department of Corrections in the Youth Facility.

Bre is the one person in this world I know I can truly count on in all aspects of life. I wanted to marry her because of her generosity and kindness that she gives to every living thing in her life (especially her animals). My grandma means the world to me and her wisdom knows no bounds!! When she told me to “make sure that one did not get away,” I listened! Bre’s devotion to family and how they come first is one of her best traits. She has the ability to treat every person like family Bre has more capacity for love than just about anyone I have ever met, and I knew she would be the best mother because her priorities never change and she would guard her family close forever.
My Love For GRANT
Grant is a very kind and loving man. He will always do anything he can to help you in any situation. He is very loyal, trustworthy, generous & funny He loves his family and has a very special bond with his grandma. He is definitely the Fun Uncle with the nephews & niece! It is always extra loud when he is playing with the kids! That is how I know he will be the best Dad! He is always playing and entertaining the kiddos and going to their sporting events when he is able. He really is just a big kid when the kiddos are around!
Family
Our family traditions have blended over the last 9.5 years We spend Christmas Eve with Grant’s family and get to see the kiddos opening and playing with their gifts We then spend Christmas morning with Bre’s side of the family Bre’s family used to have 40+ people in her Grandparent’s home for every holiday with family traveling from all over With the grandkids all starting to have their own families, it’s a bit more spread out, but her parent’s house is a gathering place for most.
We are both very close to our families Bre’s parents and sister live about 12 minutes from our house. Summer weekends are usually spent in the pool they have in the backyard! Grant’s parents are about a 20 min drive, and we see them just as often! We are also very close to Grant’s Grandm who recently moved from Ohio to be closer to family We try to do Friday Date Nights with Grandma a few times a month just to spend to extra time with her!
Adoption is certainly not a foreign concept for u Bre’s mom was adopted as a toddler, her sister was adopted from Russia as an infant, and her Aunt has 3 daughters adopted from China We love seeing families group together no matter that comes to be!
Leisure
We Love spending time with friends! Activities have changed a bit since some kiddos have joined, but we really just enjoy having a great time together We karaoke, go to concerts, Christmas parties or even just grabbing lunch and catching up. They are certainly our chosen family members to us!
Hobbies: Bre enjoys photography, cooking, gardening & decorating / designing We bought her Grandparents home about 3 years ago, and she been designing and remodeling it ever since! It definitely a labor of love, but it brings her such jo She really is good at it! Grant enjoys keeping the yard looking great, washing & detailing our vehi fishing, hiking & going to the gym. He has coach played recreational baseball and hockey
We love to travel! We have been to Mexico, Boston & NYC just to name a few places! There are so many more places we dream of visiting too!
We are huge football fans, although as previously mentioned, we like opposing teams We enjoy going to football & hockey games when we can as well.
PetsWe are definitely animal lovers!! We have both grown up with animals all our lives We currently have 2 dogs (Cali, our 8 year old German Shepherd Lab mix & Freya, our 4 year old German Shepherd) & 3 cats (Jack, Henry & Toby). Home
We bought Bre’s Grandparents home a little over 3yrs ago. She grew up coming over to the house every weekend and holiday! We live in Papillion, NE which has been voted multiple times as a Top 5 place to live in America! It really is a sweet little suburb of Omaha It’s about 25k residents, mostly families that have been in the town for generations. We are just a few blocks away from the downtown area that is just beautiful. They do a remarkable job decorating for Christmas and have festivals throughout the year, a 4th of July block party and so much more. Our home is a 1960’s Ranch style home We have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full basement that will be remodeled in the next few years, 2 car attached garage. We have a bedroom picked out right next to our primary bedroom that will become the nursery A recently remodeled kitchen, dining room and updated bath. We live on a corner lot right across the street for the high school With it being a corner lot, we have large fenced in backyard and extended patio – lots of room to run around!
Work
Bre currently works from home for an insurance company She loves the flexibility that working from home provides! Grant has followed in his Father-In-Law’s path by working for the State in the Corrections Department He enjoys trying to be a good example for those youths that are incarcerated and to maybe influence them to make different choices in the future.
