

TRANSFER CHECKLIST
You have earned college credit and have graduated from high school, or attained a high school equivalency.
To qualify for admission into The Evergreen State College you must meet the following:
• a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
• a GPA 2.0 or better in the last attended quarter (or semester)
Apply with:
Online application (evergreen.edu/apply)
$60.00 application fee (contact the Admissions Office for waiver options)
Official Transcripts (from ALL institutions attended)
Submit FAFSA/WASFA (studentaid.gov) (FAFSA Code: 08155)
• If applying test optional please scan QR code and visit Test Optional Admissions for a 300-500 word essay prompt.
Credits are considered transferable if:
• They are earned with an AA-DTA
• Academic in nature
• 100 level or higher
• Passed with a “C” (2.0) or better
How many credits may be transferred in?
• As many as 90 lower division (100-200 level) quarter credits
• As many as 45 upper division (300-400 level) quarter credits
• As many as 15 vocational/technical quarter credits
• No more than 135 quarter credits may be transferred in.
Paying for your education at Evergreen
Financial Aid
Paying for college doesn’t have to be complicated. The first step is applying for federal or state financial aid. The applications open October 1 with a recommendation to complete by March 1.

You will automatically be considered for our Merit Awards at the time of application.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
If you reside in a WUE state*, you’ll automatically be considered for this merit-based award. This award is in place of the awards listed above.

Evergreen Scholarships
These scholarships will help offset the cost even farther by stacking on top of your merit-based award. The application opens October 1 and all applications must be in by the March 1 Deadline.

Local Scholarships
Don’t limit your earning potential. Every year there are thousands of scholarships awarded through community organizations and local companies. Take the time to research and apply for as many as you can.
