A dedicated service, tailored to your needs The College of St Hild and St Bede has a wealth of facilities and amenities that can be adapted to suit a wide variety of events, and the experienced and dedicated staff at the College will ensure any occasion is an unrivalled success. The College puts great emphasis on its ability to offer varied and distinctive dining facilities, perfectly complemented by a catering team with a wealth of experience in creating menus to meet all tastes and occasions. The dining venues include the spectacular and elegant Joachim Room, formerly the chapel of St Hild’s College, which is now the College’s principal banqueting room and is appropriate for groups of between 40 and 110 people. More intimate occasions can be held in the Collier Room, or the main dining hall will prove perfect for up to 350 people with its fine view across the College grounds to the Castle. The College’s Caedmon Hall is a purpose-built facility that can accommodate up to 330 people and can be adapted for a wide variety of events from lectures to large receptions, discos and celebratory parties.
