When a child is hurting, the whole family is affected. We believe that the most effective way to help children is to involve the family, the people who love them the most. This may include sessions with a child and their parents together, separate sessions for the child and for the parents, or sessions including the whole family. Our goal is to surround the child with all the support they need and to help the whole family work together for a healthier future.

By honoring their development and defenses, we use a mix of play and curriculum based therapies to meet emotional needs and address skill deficits. They incorporate parents by conceptualizing their kids issues and then coaching through new modifications and approaches to better development. Skill deficits can include low confidence, low frustration tolerance, difficulty with emotional regulation, difficulty with emotional expression, social skill deficits and executive functioning deficits.
