Executive Summary
Who We Are
Eureka Educational and Training Consultants Limited is one of the leading indigenous consultancy firms in Kenya. It was registered in April 1984 as a management and education consultancy firm. Due to the ever increasing needs of a more qualitative workforce, the founding objectives were to provide quality training and human resource management consultancy services and to undertake consultancy assignments in specialized areas of management and development such as institutional strengthening, corporate divestiture, job evaluation, strategic planning, manpower audits, project management, and impact assessment among other consultancy services. Towards meeting these objectives, Eureka has provided quality training and human resource management consultancy services to diverse clientele including Government of Kenya, state corporations, the manufacturing sector, NGOs, the Donor Community and public universities among others. Eureka is registered by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), formerly DIT, and Ministry of Labour to train under the training levy scheme. It is also registered by the Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services (DOHSS) to train in safety and to carry out safety audits. The Founding Directors are Professionals with many years of relevant experience.

What We Do
Eureka is NITA approved organization with over 20 years of experience in training and consultancy services to corporate clients in areas such as in-house training which include 3600 leadership training, senior management , training of trainers, team dynamics and team building, supervisory skills training , customer care among others. We also specialize in providing human resource consultancy such as Human Resource Audit, developing of HR manual, Salary review and restructuring corporate restructuring, job evaluation, training needs assessments, institutional strengthening and review and developing of strategic plans. We owe our growth and diversity to various organizations that has supported us over the years.

Charles W. Kangethe (Executive Director & CEO)
• Mr. Kangethe holds a Master of Education degree in Industrial Education and Training (University of Manchester, U.K),A Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship (JKUAT) and a Bachelor of Technical Education (University of Western Ontario, Canada). He has over 20 years experience in training and management consultancy. He is also a member of Professional Trainers' Association (PTAK), institute of training and development. He is currently the Executive Director & lead trainer and strategist at Eureka.

Lydiah W. Waithaka (Managing Consultant)
• Lydiah has an MBA in Strategic Management (University of Nairobi), Bachelor of Education in Humanities (University of Wales-UK),Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication (University of Nairobi) and she is a member of Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) and Professional Trainers' Association (PTAK). She has 20 years experience in training, former Editor-in-Chief of Health Digest Magazine and she is currently the Managing Consultant with Eureka.

Dennis K. Waithaka (Director Marketing And Administration)
• Dennis joined the Firm in March 2015 after a career in the aviation industry spanning over 14 years. During this time he worked with Kenya Airways Ltd. in product development and sales fields, playing pivotal roles in aircraft and asset acquisition as well as key account management. Dennis holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Sheffield (UK) and a BA Business Administration from the Manchester Metropolitan University (UK).

Laura Koki (Program Coordinator)
• Laura holds a bachelors degree in Economics and Information Technology from Maseno university, she also hold certificate in accounting and training of trainers. Laura has matured in areas of project coordination, designing and expanding training and development programmes based on the needs of the clients and managing delivery of training. She is also passionate about researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning.

Our Service Eureka offers two types of training: In-house (Customized) Training and Open (Scheduled) Courses in any area of operation. The cost of running in-house training is negotiable and depends on various factors such as venue, distance, requirements of the training etc. Charges for open programmes are normally included in the general circulars sent out several weeks ahead of the course date. In addition to training, we undertake consultancy assignments based on specific Terms of Reference (TOR) such as the following:
