Countdown to closing checklist Pre-Closing Preparation Gather all keys, garage door openers, gate codes, and manuals for appliances/systems. Ensure all agreed-upon repairs have been completed; have receipts/documentation ready. Confirm the moving-out date and arrange for a final clean-up. Provide your forwarding address to all relevant parties.

Closing / Settlement Review the Closing Disclosure (CD) and settlement statement carefully. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport). Bring all keys, remotes, and access devices to the closing. Be prepared for the final wire transfer or receipt of proceeds.
