THE Marbella Municipal Golf School has obtained a new machine (the first of its kind in Europe) to assist golfers in their training and to allow them a greater option to practise.

The Robo Golf Pro which was created by Scott Nei, a teacher at the Pebble Beach Golf Academy in the USA aims to help golfers perfect their swing as if that is correct, then it gives them a much better chance of reducing their handicap.

The way the machine works is that it is possible to programme in an example of the swing used by some of the most successful professional golfers and because of its construction will help those using the machine to follow their favourite’s style.

This purchase is another example of how the Golf School is embracing new technology in order to ensure that Marbella and its multitude of golf clubs continues to be a leader in the Costa del Golf scene.

The council, management of the Golf School and Range and the Andalucian Golf Federation are all working together to ensure that the school continues to offer a top class service.

IT has now been confirmed that the actor, Manuel Bandera, will be the town crier for the Feria de San Miguel 2023 in Torremolinos.

The opening of the Feria de San Miguel will take place on September 27 at 8.30pm in the Plaza de Espana located in the fairgrounds of the town.
