GIBRALTAR’S Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia, held a crucial meeting with the Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Baroness Scotland, in London on Tuesday, May 30.
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen Gibraltar’s ties with the British Commonwealth in the wake of its departure from the European Union.

Commonwealth camaraderie

The negotiations between the United Kingdom and the European Union for a Gibraltar treaty were also on the agenda. Dr Garcia also ex plored possible areas of cooperation between Gibraltar and the Commonwealth Foundation
The Deputy Chief Minister also held separate meetings with High Commissioners from various Commonwealth countries during his time in London. Several High Commissioners thanked Gibraltar for assisting Commonwealth citizens onboard cruise ships during the pandemic.
MAX MOORE, who was due to turn 21 has been reported missing in Marbella since 3pm on May 28, by his parents on various social media platforms.
