Saddling up Logo unveiled
THE charming town of Monda is proud to announce its brandnew tourism logo, showcasing the town’s unique heritage and natural wonders. Designed by the talented Alejandro López Rebollo, the seal captures the essence of Monda and highlights its prominent landmarks and attractions.
From the majestic Al Mundat Castle to the Iglesia Santiago Apostol, the striking La Jaula fountain, and even the ancient Roman road, visitors can now easily identify these sites from the town’s logo and explore these remarkable sites.
Mayor María Fernández unveiled the new logo on Wednesday, May 31 and highlighted its importance in strengthening Monda’s position as a sustainable tourism destination. She explained “Monda is not only a gateway between the coast and Malaga, but it is also an essential part of the Sierra de las Nieves National Park.” Ana Millán, the councillor for Tourism added that the new logo is just one aspect of the town’s strategy to develop its tourism sector.
THE Prolongo AlAndalus Women’s Team, managed by the AlAndalus Cycling Club in Cartama, announced that they were gearing up to take part in the prestigious ‘Ruta del Sol’ Elite Women’s Tour of Andalucia race.
