Acts of generosity
ELCHE will raise the curtain on an evening of theatrical excellence on Thursday, May 18 for a charity amateur theatre evening. Performers will take to the stage for a night of fun while raising money for charities in the disputed territory of Western Sahara.
Featuring a selection of seven outstanding plays curated by theatre lovers, the show promises to be an entertaining event for the audience while raising muchneeded funds for the Association for Aid to Western Sahara, which provides essential assistance to those in need.
The audience will get a chance to witness the raw talent and creativity of actors from the participating theatre associations, as they bring their exceptional performances to life.
From 9pm on the night, the Gran Teatro de Elche will come alive with the magic of live performance, thanks to the work of several amateur theatre groups.
Organisers Consuelo Pérez and Ángela Carrillo from local theatre associations announced the remarkable initiative, saying that tickets cost €5 each.
