San Javier water plant

THE mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luen‐go announced the plans for a new water treatment plant that will quadruple San Javier’s rainwater absorption.

The work has begun and is due to con‐clude in the second half of 2023. He high‐lighted the importance of these works and spoke about the torrential rain experi‐ enced in the Mar Menor region in these re‐cent years. José Miguel Luengo thanked the government for the Region of Murcia during his announcement for the invest‐ment of €2 million in this much‐needed project.
