WITH the new law passed in Andalucia by the President of the Junta de Andalucia, Juanma Moreno, making it law that everybody, aged six or above are obliged to wear a protective facemask at all times, Velez-Malaga Town Hall are currently distributing 100,000 masks throughout the area, as agreed at the recent meetings for the social and economic welfare of the area. This begins today, Thursday, July 16 and will be available at all 29 phar macies throughout the town where residents can go along to collect. This initiative has been taken using an investment of the contingency fund of €62,000. QUALITY DESTINATION THE Cueva de Nerja Foundation and the Maro VG Apartments have been awarded the Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED) certificate for quality.
