By Matt Ford AT least 400 Ryanair flights to or from Spain have been cancelled as cabin crew employees strike across the country. The industrial action which began yesterday (Wednesday) ends this evening, with up to 100,000 passengers affected as staff in Portugal, Italy and Belgium also joined the revolt. At least 17 Costa del Sol flights have been axed, while demonstrators organised protests at airports in Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Lanzarote. A last-minute meeting between unions and airline officials failed to break the deadlock over working conditions with the protestors’ promotional material describing the budget carrier as a “disciplinary terror regime.”
