Brit drug lord held Hash stash ‘worth tens of millions’ seized by Matt Ford A 61-year-old British expatriate has been held on suspicion o f h e a d i n g a d ru g smuggling plot on the Costa del Sol. It comes after investigators revealed that he was planning to use a bogus export firm to send almost 10 tonnes of hashish stashed in domestic freezers from Spain to North Africa. The drugs - worth tens of millions of Euros - were reportedly set to be distributed around the Middle East after arriving in Libyan capital Tripoli.
