Brit stab suspect in denial AN unnamed British man accused of stabbing a compatriot with a Stanley knife in Benalmadena may face three-and-a-half years in prison. The alleged incident occurred in Plaza Solymar after an argument between the pair, with the injured party needing 11 stitches in his back. But the accused disputes the prosecution’s claims, arguing he had simply tried to break up a fight and he was not carrying a knife, with the wound caused by the victim falling on the floor. He was caught by police while waiting for a taxi.
