Male model kills ex-lover A 22-YEAR-OLD male model from Malaga is to be charged for the murder of his ex-girlfriend in Cartagena. Identified as Adrian SC, the attacker reportedly travelled to Murcia in search of his former partner, 20, but she reported him for harassment. But as she arrived home he stabbed her in the neck and chest.

Fraud case continues MORE than a dozen relatives of Rifaat al-Assad, uncle of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, are giving evidence to a Madrid court as a money-laundering probe continues. By John Smith A Costa del Sol police sting has included the arrest of the highest-ranking Russian mafia boss ever held in Spain. It comes as 11 Russian nationals, including the owner of Marbella Football Club, are due to appear before a Malaga judge tomorrow (Friday). The court appearances come in the wake of a series of dramatic raids by Spanish police probing a €30 million money laundering plot involving two rival gangs. More than 100 officers swooped on a luxury mansion in the Bahia de Marbella urbanisation before moving to the club’s stadium, with major shareholder and owner of the Dama de Noche golf club Alexander Grinberg among those held alongside Aguas Sierra de Mijas chief Oleg Kuztnesov.
