Christian de la Cruz will bike 230km and run 70km to raise funds for a children’s charity on December 28. He is a key member of #AxarquiAlimite, a team of local heroes who take on extreme sporting challenges for different causes. interested local athletes to join the team for all or part of the route as #AxarquiAlimite hope to shatter previous fundraising efforts. There will be a support car in tow filming participants, keeping donors abreast of events on social media, and, of course, carrying first aid equipment and emergency supplies.

Christian says all funds raised will go directly to AVOI and its efforts across Malaga, training and providing volunteers to help children with cancer. His efforts are being supported by many local Axarquia businesses. Anyone interested in helping children at Christmas and inspiring Christian on the huge task ahead can
