Take selfies for charity On Christmas Day, José Pérez Bellido, a fireman in Marbella, saw an advertisement on TV showing the best viewpoints in the world and thought that Marbella should have one too, at the top of La Concha which is 1,200 metres high, and considered that it would be ideal to link this with a charity. Having chosen the Butterfly Children Charity (DEBRA Spain) as the nominated charity, the firemen, in cooperation with the Marbella Department of Sustainability and Mobility and with support from Caixa Bank and Obra Social, ‘La Caixa’ met with Mayor Jose Bernal and representatives of the parties involved on Wednesday, June 15, to launch the bench and their commitment to the charity. Also present were Nieves Montero, president and founder of the charity and Luis Lima, affected by ‘butterfly skin,’ for a photo call to announce the project called ‘Butterfly Children Charity Bench.’ After the presentation, firefighters began the ascent on
