Boost for ban on bullfights MOTION set to be approved by the Mallorca Government Mallorca’s Government is due to approve a motion to support the regional government in its attempt to ban bullfighting in the Balearic Islands today (Thursday). The Mallorca Sense Sang (Without Blood) campaign has gathered more than
139,000 signatures and persuaded 29 towns to ban bullfighting, the most recent being Binissalem. It will now attempt to get the support of the Mallorca Government and take further steps. The motion will be voted on in Parliament.
