Wo r k s o n t h e fo u n dations, structure and ro o f i n g o f t h e b u i l d i n g are already well under w a y, a n d b u i l d e r s h a v e b e g u n to fo c u s o n i n te r ior walls and piping. Outdoor gardening work will begin shortl y, a n d w i l l b e c a r r i e d out in phases. Mayor Jose Maria Garc i a U rbano s aid: “ This hospital is bec o m i n g a re a l i t y, w h i c h will mean a huge leap in the quality of services that residents will re ce ive. “It will in turn allow us to continue to enhance the quality of life in Este pona .” The works are ex-

pected to be completed in December and are being fully funded by the council, in collaboration with the Junta de Andalucia, which will be responsible for it s ma in ten an ce cos t s.
