Understanding SDG 7
SDG 7 is affordable and clean energy. This SDG aims to provide access to clean energy which will help humanity grow. The lack of access to energy supplies and transformation systems is a restriction to human and economic development. The earth provides us with many non-renewable and renewable resources such as solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, biofuels, natural gas, coal, petroleum, uranium.
Increased usage of fossil fuels without taking action to mitigate the impact of greenhouse gasses globally will cause disastrous effects on the climate. Energy efficiency and more use of renewable sources will contribute to climate change mitigation.Maintaining and protecting habitats will allow humanity to use hydro energy and other renewables that organisms apart from humans use.

More than 3 billion people rely on wood, coal, charcoal or animal waste for cooking and heating, this has a huge impact on the environment. Due to the usage of these products; Since 1990, global emissions of CO2 have increased by more than 46 per cent!
So, based on this SDG we all need to reduce the amount of non renewable resources that we use!
