Aaron Arthur Ferguson (30 April 1974 – 30 July 2021) was a Botswanan-born, South African actor, executive producer and co-founder of Ferguson Films – professionally known as Shona Ferguson.Ferguson started his journey into the world of entertainment in Lesotho as a club DJ at The Palace Hotel Night Club in 1992. After moving back to Botswana his focus shifted to the corporate world and he ended up in the IT business. Having started as a salesman, he worked his way up to become a respected businessman where he won multiple achievement awards, including Top Sales Manager Award 1998-99 while working at EDUTECH. He started his acting career as Ace on the South African TV series Generations.

In April 2006, he started acting on the South African venda soap opera Muvhango as Dr Leabua and gained fame from the role. He left the show in March 2007. He then starred as Itumeleng from 2011–2013 on The Wild, a M-Net soap opera. He, along with wife Connie Ferguson, established Ferguson Films and both starred on their film production's first series Rockville. He starred as JB from 2013 to its final episode in 2016. He also starred on 2014's The Gift, a Ferguson Films series, and starred as Jerry Maake on The Queen, also a Ferguson Films series that started in 2016. His other TV appearances include Isidingo: The Need as Tyson and Scandal! as Alex. As of 2021, they had produced Rockville, iGazi, The Gift, The Throne, The Herd, The Queen, The River and The Imposter. In 2020, they produced a Netflix six-part series called Kings of Joburg.

Ferguson married actress Connie Masilo in November 2001. In June 2002, they welcomed their only daughter and child, Alicia Angel. He received the Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Soap and Golden Horn Award for Best Achievement by a Lead Actor in a Made for TV Movie. In late July 2021, after having complained of chest pains then admitted to Milpark Hospital, Ferguson underwent heart surgery. On the afternoon of 30 July, according to a statement issued on Ferguson Film's Instagram account, he died. His cause of death was given as COVID-19 related complications.

ARTIST | RICHARD MAAMBIRE AKA RICHKIDIE.

My Name is Richard Maambire, a 19 years Bulawayo based artist. I started my art career when l was doing my primary level in 2015. In the same year, l discovered that the use of autocratic, power, could help me push on my talent. From there, l saw that l could sharpen my skills and become something unique in the art industry. In 2018, l came out with a brand name for my art, which l named, Billion Dollar Art (BDA).

I have been the BDA man, since the year 2018. I have drawn and painted many different, portraits, such as family portraits, wildlife just to mention a few. In the same year, in 2018, I managed to work with the National Gallery of Zimbabwe (NGZ) .l worked, very well with them, they helped me to sharpen my skills, a bit better. In 2019, I got introduced to the most, talked about, most sang about, most written about, portrait and the most expensive portrait in the world that was painted by the, Italian artist, Lernado Da Vinci. Just by glancing at the snap of the portrait, I got motivated and l pulled, so hard, l felt so challenged, l told myself that l wasn't an artist. I tried by all means to crack out of the shell. I had heard and watched many clips talking aboutt stepping out of the comfort zone, I couldn't get the sense. I had attended many competition, like the Art, Of Health, DASAF, to mention but a few.

"Giving up hasn't been my language"

"I almost quit”, in 2020, l drew one portrait, that took my name to the nation, after working so hard quite for a long time. On the 27th of November 2020, l got the chance to be screened on the National Television (ZTV). My journey hasn't been romantic at all but giving up hasn't been my language. Whenever l look at my previous little achievements l get motivated to keep on pushing and calling, one day l will get the respect l deserve.
