Noosa Botanic Gardens
Noosa Botanic Gardens has something for everyone on 5 March and the first Sunday of each month. From 8.30am join a guided walk with a volunteer from Friends of the Garden for an easy stroll highlighting the gardens’ special features. From 9am sip on a coffee and make your way to the shade garden, home to more exotic garden species. From 10am unpack your chair under the poincianas and listen to music. Horizon Festival
The 2023 Horizon Festival from 25 August to 3 September will showcase culture, music, visual art, theatre, dance, comedy and creative workshops with the festival hub at Cotton Tree and featuring a Spiegeltent.



Horizon Festival, supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), called for submissions from Sunshine Coast-based artists to create new projects or work as part of Homegrown – an initiative developed in response to Covid. Katie Rose Hospice fundraiser
Save the date of 10 June for the second annual Katie Rose Cottage Hospice Forget-me-not Gala at Alba Noosa restaurant. The dinner is a key fundraiser for the hospice which relies heavily on donations to remain open. Tickets will be available shortly but now is the time to get a table together. Australian Body Art Festival
The Australian Body Art Festival is set to return home to Eumundi in April 2024 under the auspices of the Eumundi & District Historical Association Inc. The first event was originally held in Eumundi in 2008 and over time moved to Cooroy.
