The Eumundi Equestrian Qld Interschool team of riders recently competed in the State Interschool Championships in Maryborough. With Brisbane hosting the 2032 Olympic Games, it is possible that these riders from Eumundi will build on their success at the championships and compete for Australia on home ground. Show Horses was the first discipline. The riders presented their ponies beautifully before they headed to the main ring in their Eumundi School equestrian uniforms. Grace Ca (Yr 2) contested both minichampion classes of Open Pony and Hunter Pony. She was nervous but excited about competing at a state level. Grace won all of her four classes and was announced as State Champion in both sections with her gorgeous small ponies.
