KINDNESS COUNTS
Project: Puppy love!
The Kindness Club children in Cooroy handmade approximately 80 dog pull-toys from old T-shirts, plaited tightly for durability. There were also some tennis balls with doggy love messages written on them to share with lucky pups.

Kindness Club member Daisy said, “It's good to help animals as well as people. Dogs comfort people and are really good to their human families. They deserve extra kindness.”
The toys, placed at Jamaica Blue Cooroy, serve as a heartfelt gesture of love and appreciation for “four-legged fur angels.” #KindnessCount Kindness Club!
Cubby house built with community help
School Holiday projects are a load of fun, and even better when the community contributes. A local nineyear old boy started building a cubby house during the last school holidays. Thanks to the contributions of kind community members from Pomona, Cooroy and Eumundi, the Cubby has now been completed.

Kindness came in the form of cladding, windows, and a sheet of Colorbond for the roof. Along with some great advice, a paw paw and some honey! All items were donated, so he has decided to pay it forward by donating some food items to the Cooroy Community Food Pantry.
