The Eumundi and District Community Association (EDCA) invited residents of Eumundi and close by

Kate Gyngell, from EDCA, distributed generous hampers of wine, cheese and chocolates to volunteers saying: “This event makes those important connections within our community, and shows our appreciation to our local volunteers.”
First Officer of Eumundi Rural Fire Brigade, Bob Miller expressed his thanks: “Today’s event means that the community acknowledges what we volunteers do, and lets us know we are appreciated. Our work is hot and sweaty—and we don’t just go to fires but respond to calls for downed trees and flooding. We really appreciate your thanks… but don’t expect it.” Eumundi Rotary’s chefs cooked the sausage sizzle and the Eumundi QCWA branch provided cakes and slices.
