Liz Barclay is the Small Business Commissioner for the UK. She has a background in broadcasting and journalism specialising in small business, personal finance and consumer affairs and is author of several business books. Uday Dholakia is an experienced Board member of regulatory bodies, with special and particular experience in simplifying and improving regulation. He champions the role of regulators along with the interests of business, consumers, employees and the environment. As an ardent advocate of Better Regulation, Uday is passionate about promoting the UK’s regulatory landscape, as UK PLC’s foremost unique selling proposition.
Uday brings a creative and dynamic experience as Non-Executive Director at CTSI, with a record of successfully delivering strategic planning and decision making, service delivery, change management, risk management and performance management. He has served at Board level in the regulatory functions of Trading Standards, Environmental Health, Electricity Distribution, Broadcasting, Policing, Planning, Aviation, better regulation at the Local Better Regulation Office (LBRO), and as lead Director on SME’s, European Commission and Diversity.
