The boutique/bakery will open Saturday, June 24 with a party from 3 to 7 p.m. The first 50 guests will take home a free swag bag, and the store will also offer bakery and boutique discounts, pet adoptions, a photo booth and food and treats for doggos and their humans. Ingram Park Mall adds macarons

> Macarons (not to be confused with newly elected French president Emmanuel Macron) hit the Ingram Hills area this week with the opening of Woops! inside Ingram Park Mall on Thursday. The franchise will operate as a kiosk serving the Parisian treats in 20 flavors. Launched in 2012 as a pop-up by a group of creatives, Woops! now has kiosks and bakeshops in 12 states including Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia and Tennessee. Flavors include espresso macchiato, strawberry milkshake, rose, cookies and cream and more. The Ingram Park kiosk will be the first in San Antonio and will carry all 20 flavors. > The highs are in the 90s, the shorts keep getting shorter, and you need popsicles in your life. San Antonians can now cool off with their first taste of the upcoming Steel City Pops shop in Southtown as the shop starts selling their pops at The Block. Steel City Pops will offer strawberry lemonade, blood orange, chocolate and coconut popsicles made at their Houston location. For the time being, the Steel City Pops cart will be parked at The Block, a food truck park near the UTSA Main Campus, from noon to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The Southtown location of the Alabama-based popsicle shop is slated for a summer 2017 opening at 812 S. Alamo St. 14530 Roadrunner Way.

We welcome people to ask for stuff and change it up,” Huerta said.
