Corte Bella Canine Club concludes “Good Year” 2022 with Party Cheer!
The CB Canine Club held its 4th quarter event in December, 2022 at the CB Golf Club.
The Christmas party was booked to capacity of 75, with club and non-club guests.
Guests enjoyed Peanut Satay in Peanut sauce, Skewers, House-Made BBQ Meatballs, and Spring Rolls. Home-made delicious desserts were shared.
The Silent Auction (where nearly 50% of the donations were from non-dog owners!) raised over $1,800.00 for the Puppy Luv Rescue. Lovely handcrafted donations included:
Mother/Daughter Team, Angie & Deb made 2 sets of festive holiday “Yappy Time” books (home decor)
Husband & Wife, Tom & Pam, donated 5 cutting boards of various sizes that Pam branded etching of puppy paws, grape vines and more
Christina graciously donated 4 tickets to the lovely Botanical Gardens
Connie Adams made a beautiful basket of puppy goodies including wine glasses
Resident Jan Still made 2 wonderful wine baskets - an Italian basket and a Happy New Year basket
Guests also filled the back of a pick up truck with gently used dog items for the shelter.
A wonderful slide show was shared of club members’ beautiful four legged friends.
The event was a huge success and enjoyed by all who attended.
