Food, Individuality and Music. This issue was inspired by the Series on Netflix ‘High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America’ which traced food lines from Africa to Texas, USA. It got me thinking about our association with food, music and individuality, looking at the impact, influence, and inspiration of all three which often creates a sense of nostalgia, gives time for us to reminisce, fond memories with individual, societal and cultural associations and relationships honed and formed. We cover content of delicious frivolity as we explore food and music stories from around the world from the UK to America, Bangladesh and South Africa.
