She started by applying her cremes to women in salons as they sat under the hair dryer. She fought her way into department stores dominated by male-owned beauty brands. She taught women about beauty in elevators, at parties, and everywhere in between. She de-mystified makeup, de-stigmatized fragrance, and invented new skincare categories.
