From the toddler to the senior, there is literally something for everyone. Bring your toddler down to the festival to have his or her face painted or enjoy a ride on our miniature ponies. Children will have a blast in our interactive Kids Zone. More rides, more attractions, more music, more vendors, MORE FUN! Comedy Juggling Stunt Show Beginning his performing career at the age of 17, Ben Burland has been wowing audiences and making people laugh for close to half his life. He attended Humber colleges comedy writing and performance program, Canada’s only full time college
program for comedy professionals. He now combines his love of classic vaudeville skills with his unique self deprecating comedy style to create a one of a kind show. Ben will be perform downtown during the Classic Car Show and has 2 stage shows scheduled at 2:00pm and 5:30pm on the Long & McQuade Performance Stage.

Rise To Fame Youth Talent Contest
Kingsport Environmental: Birds of Prey
Starting at Noon on Unifor Local 444 Main Stage, the competition is limited to youth ages 6 years to 12 years old, and 13 years to 21 years old. Every year the Western Fair District - London, ON organizes in conjunction with fairs and festivals across Southwestern Ontario a Youth Talent Search to give the Youth in our communities a chance to perform in front of a live audience. There are 18 Preliminary contests across Southwestern Ontario, including a stop in Essex. The winners of these regional competitions will travel to London to compete in the finals during their 10-day fair. To submit an entry please visit www.westernfairdistrict. com/music/rise2fame. Annual Essex Fun Fest Parade
One of the highlights of the Essex Fun Fest is its annual downtown parade. This year’s date is Saturday, July 9th. Parade time is 11:00am. This year’s theme is the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The parade commences at the intersection of Talbot Street (Main Street) and Fairview Avenue and proceeds north along Talbot Street to Maidstone Avenue. The parade welcomes all Marching Musical Groups, Specialty Groups, Commercial Entries, Services
Clubs and Antique Vehicles to participate in the parade. To participate in the parade, submit your entry is July 4th. For more information email Jake Morassut at jmorassut@essex.ca.
