About Us
We are an Azorean brand and distillery that was born from the need to reuse the waste resulting from the Marques Group’s quarry and wood industry.
We started, therefore, to distill the branches of cryptomeria trees, transforming them into essential oils. Today, we already distill more than 10 different types of essential oils, from plants and flowers with proven therapeutic properties.
We also sell other associated products such as diffusers and basalt powder, being the las one our most our most recent acquisition.
Our Products
Currently, we have 4 product ranges: Essential Oils, Floral Waters, Basalt Powder and Diffusers. All of these have organic origin and are produced locally.

Essential Oils
Essential oils are natural substances which are liquid and 100% pure, that can that can be extracted from flowers, leaves, roots, seeds, fruits, and other plant parts. They have therapeutic effetcs when when inhaled or absorbed through the skin. The technique of distilling essential oils is very old. According to experts, it started around 3,000 B.C., in China. Today, the distillation process has more advanced technological resources than before.

How to use:
They can be used in body massages (with a carrier oil), compresses, baths, inhalation or vaporization.

Floral Water
Also known as hydrolat, floral water is a by-product of essential oil distillation. In order to preserve its properties, floral water should be stored in a well-sealed container (preferably a glass flask) and in a cool place. Although floral water does not always present the same properties as essential oils because it is a much less concentrated product, it has its own characteristics and benefits.
How to use
Floral waters have moisturizing, toning, and refreshing properties. They can be used for body or face care, in beauty and aesthetic masks, as facial toner, hair and body moisturizer, aromatic baths, and even as room fresheners. Because they are mild, floral waters can be used on children, young people, the elderly, and people in poor health. Sensitive skin, with burns, wounds, eczema, rashes, or simply sore, can also receive the positive effects of floral waters.

Basalt powder is obtained by grinding basalt rock, resulting in a fine, mineral-rich powder with several uses, including in cosmetics.
Properties
Promotes skin elasticity, leaving it softer.
Pore diminishing effect.

Promotes the smoothing of expression lines and wrinkles
Helps to soften certain spots caused by sun exposure
Face application
1. Before applying the powder, remove your makeup, wash your skin thoroughly, and wipe off any other residue you have on your face;
2. Add floral or mineral water, little by little, until you get a pasty consistency;
3. Apply the mask on your face using a cat-tongue brush or your own fingers;
4. It is important to avoid sensitive areas such as around the eyes, corners of the nose and lips;
5. Leave it on until the mask dries;
6. Remove the mask with water at room temperature or lukewarm;
7. Gently dry your face and apply cream or sunscreen of your choice.
8. You can repeat this ritual 1 to 2 times a week.
Body application
Prepare the mask for the body in the same way as for the face; Leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes; Remove the mask with water at room temperature or lukewarm; You can repeat this ritual once a week or every 15 days.

Diffusers
The electric diffuser serves to evaporate the aroma of the essential oil throughout the environment, leaving it more fragrant and bringing that feeling of physical and emotional well-being when the smell is inhaled.
How to use
Place the water in the tank as indicated on the equipment, and add some drops of the desired essential oil. It is recommended to use 1 to 2 drops of essential oil per square meter. The equipment should be cleaned at least once a week or every 15 days, depending on its use. To clean, simply wash the interior plastic parts of the equipment with water and degreasing soap, rinse thoroughly and wipe with a soft dry cloth.
