REQUIREMENTS:
• Currently pursing or recently graduated from a 4 year or advanced degree specific to the area(s) of the internship program
• Junior, Senior, or recent college graduate only
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to complete design calculations and/or technical writing
• General knowledge of construction

• Desire to succeed in a Civil Engineering, Consulting, Survey, and Construction Firm


• Valid driver;s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to drive to/from the office and jobs sites as needed, including NYC (not relying on public transportation or carpooling)
• Ability to work in-person
• Satisfactory completion of a background check
• Authorization to work in the United States

The MFS Internship Program is a hands-on experience aimed at preparing students for a career in professional Engineering and Surveying Services. Interns will work directly with our team of inter-disciplinary professionals to develop their skills and explore their field of interest, receiving supervision and guidance along the way.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The comprehensive program at MFS is geared toward exposing interns to a wide variety of business units and responsibilities within our organization. Each intern will interact with multiple divisions with the goal of obtaining a well-rounded understanding of the business and enriching their learning experience.
DETAILS AND QUALIFICATIONS
MFS primarily offers summer internships in either our New Jersey or New York offices. Our internships are paid and interns can also receive school credit if arranged through their school’s career services.
The 3-4 week rotation period will be dependent on your availability and firm workload. Internships are available for either current or recently graduated students.
