Lasting Esplanade Arbor Fund 2020 Tree Plantings YEARS
2020 L.E.A.F. Tree Plantings on the Esplanade In 2020, the Esplanade’s tree canopy grew by 50 trees as part of the Esplanade Association’s Lasting Esplanade Arbor Fund initiative. The diverse number of trees planted along the Esplanade are featured in four different zone maps representing the Esplanade and exact locations in which our 2020 L.E.A.F. trees were planted. Please refer to the key below to identify which types of tree species and cultivars were planted in different zones of the Esplanade, displayed by four zone maps in this packet*. To learn more about the Esplanade Association’s L.E.A.F. initiative and tree care efforts, please visit Esplanade.org/Trees. *Please note: No trees were planted in Zone 5 of the Esplanade in 2020. Therefore, a map of Zone 5 (covering the area of the Esplanade from the Esplanade’s Exercise Course to the B.U. Sailing Pavilion) is not included in this packet.
