THIS PANDEMIC-PROOF MULTI-TOOL LETS YOU OPEN DOORS & TOUCH KEYPADS WITHOUT PHYSICAL CONTACT

The Stay Safe Carabiner’s design resembles a grappling hook, intended for tapping, pressing, grabbing, pulling, and turning. Designed to be small enough to fit around your finger, the multitool lets you do everything from open doors to type in your PIN number at an ATM, all without touching a single foreign surface. Its copper construction is naturally anti-microbial, neutralizing germs automatically in just under an hour or two, so germs that DO get on your multitool don’t really stand much of a chance. The copper construction works wonderfully when it comes to capacitive touchscreens too, letting you tap, type, and sign on touchscreens without using your finger

What sets the Stay Safe apart is that it also comes with a few basic tools. Built right into its design is a flat edge that works as a box-cutter, as well as a flat-head screwdriver. The design even integrates a 6mm hex driver into its body, and features, as its name suggests, a carabiner clip, so you can suspend the Stay Safe Carabiner from your belt loop, or attach it to your keychain.

THE HYBRIDDRIVE UPGRADES YOUR NOTEBOOK WITH EXTRA PORTS AND 2 TERABYTES OF STORAGE SPACE

Compatible with most USB-C devices, the HybridDrive offsets your need for multiple hubs, dongles, and drives. With a multiport on one end, and an SSD on another, and a USB-C interface connecting the two, the HybridDrive bridges the gap between your portable devices (laptop/tablet/phone) and your desktop –in the sense that it gives you extra ports and expandable storage… something most desktops have in common.

The HybridDrive’s main objective is to empower the devices around you. The HybridDrive’s combination of ports and storage helps you charge devices, connect devices, and transfer data between devices with absolute ease. The multiport setup comprises a 4K 60Hz HDMI port, two USB-A ports with 10Gbps data transfer, a MicroSD card reader, an SD card reader, and a USB-C which supports 100W of power output along with high-speed video and data transferring. On the other end of the HybridDrive is an SSD that comes in 4 sizes, starting from 128Gb and going all the way up to a whopping 2Tb.

THIS JAPANESE FAN-LIKE PORTABLE SCREEN LETS YOU SOCIAL DISTANCE ANYWHERE

We all know the things we have to carry to protect ourselves from bad weather –umbrellas, scarves, hats, etc. Given the new reality we are all living in, let’s addpandemicto that bad weather which means we need to carry more things to protect ourselves because we can’t see this storm coming. PPE likemasks, gloves, and sanitizers are helping us complete our essential errands but we cannot be in lockdown forever, the world will be opening up again and in this ‘new normal’ we will seemodifications to shared spaceslike protective screens that will continue to reduce the transmission risk.

Now not every cafe, co-working space, park, or library will have screens to protect you and in that case, you carry your own –say hello to Ventaglio! Trust me, it is not weird to take extra steps to protect yourself, it is as good as carrying an umbrella. Ventaglio is a portable screen that makes PPE look aesthetic while making sure you can go to more places than just the grocery store. It isdesigned to help people transition out of quarantine safely and continue practicing social distancing in common places. The screen is created using translucent polyethylene so that it doesn’t make you feel too disconnected from the space you are in. It also ensures stability with a belt that can go under the table to fix the divider in place.

Unlike the usual PPE that can leaveyou feeling a little sad about the times we are living in, the Ventaglio’s portable screen comes with a friendly refreshing vibe. Maybe because it folds and unfolds like a handheld Japanese fan, which makes it familiar and something we associate with summer!
