executive summary Truecrimepad is an open-forum & consulting website that provides databased information about how true crime films affect the emotional behavior of its audience. We provide a platform where the public can identify the emotions they express during, and even after, consuming films. Our platform is a safe place for everyone.

Truecrimepad exists and hopes to innovate because we are committed to maintain a good relationship with our audience. We satisfy our audience by providing newly acquired data that is apt and relevant to popular films in the present time. Films are part of our lives, and so, a continuous information provider about them is essential, that is precisely what Truecrimepad does.

Our workers are creative, methodical, and innovative. We are committed to expand and innovate our business as a start up company by upholding integrity in what we do and, of course by building a good relationship with experts and professionals in the field to be part of our growing business.

Vision & Mission As the world dissolves inside the screens day by day, how long will it take until the carefully crafted media distort our perception of life and manipulate our vulnerability? Truecrimepad aims to connect avid true crime consumers, film lovers, aspiring filmmakers, and filmmakers alike, and to create a safe space to share one another’s experiences, opinions, emotions, and advice. Our goal is to urge awareness and safety for a watcher’s emotional well-being when consuming precarious content such as true crime.

BLUE: the color blue symbolizes trust and stability.

Truecrimepad values the trust given to the company by the investors and its consumers and aims to create a stable environment for avid true crime watchers.

YELLOW: this color is known to be a symbol of joy, but aside from it, it is also the color of mind and intellect, which is one of the things that will keep the company improving and growing.

WHITE: the color white symbolizes youth. Aside from its founders starting in their adolescent stage, Truecrimepad intends to help the youth of today and the following generations to have a safe space for their emotional well-being when watching such content.

PROBLEM STATEMENT Films inevitably affect its audience one way or another. What more when its content is disturbing and has happened in real life? We have found databased answers to that question, and it includes both positive and negative ones. It also caught our attention how a huge number of the population in our survey are below 18 years old, but were able to give specific answers on how true crime films affect their emotional behavior.

Our platform can be everyone’s friend — children, teenagers, or adults — that will always remind them about the risks of watching a true crime film. Based on the data we have gathered from our preparatory study, we are able to identify specific reasons why viewers feel a certain emotion while watching true crime films. Because of this, we have provided spaces in our platform where users can do the following: interact with co-users, join on-going seminars, read true-crime related articles, and learn more about the effects of true crime films on their emotional behavior from Truecrimepad's studies.

PROPOSED SOLUTION Truecrimepad introduces our developed product, Crimeference domain, a website that will cater to the audience of true crime films and filmmakers.

Users can freely browse informative content such as the relationship of true crime films and the emotions of an individual. Furthermore, viewers of true crime can anonymously talk to someone about what contents they’ve watched. As for the filmmakers, aside from the informative content available, surface knowledge of how the writing and editing of films affect an individual’s perspective and emotion can also be found.

Crimeference aims to provide factual information regarding the effects of true crime films on the emotional behavior of individuals, while also helping filmmakers understand its effects and how they can effectively piece together their works. Additionally, paid services such as seminars, webinars, and workshops (for filmmakers) will have their own section here to dive deeper into the world of true crime and emotions.

Listed below are the contents of each pages: Home page Account creation Newsfeed Users will be able to share and post regarding certain true crime films they've watched. Users can also interact by commenting and liking other posts of co-users.

Articles page This consists of various factual articles regarding the effects of true crime films on the emotional behavior, how filmmakers can effectively piece their works together, and the likes.

Chat page Users can message anonymously to professionals about the films they've watched or the films they want to create.

Events page List of different events such as seminars and workshops that users can attend.

TIMELINE To elaborate further on what will happen in the 28 weeks of creating and officially launching this product. Based on the table, the planning will take at least one month, web design and content creation will be done simultaneously in two and a half months, web development will take three months, beta testing will be a week, the official launch will take place the week after, and monthly site maintenance.

In the four-week planning Launch Week 28 phase, each team will have a discovery session at the end of each week to uncover further if Site Maintenance Monthly the consumer's and client's needs are met. Furthermore, the team will conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy of the information that we will put on the website; the creation of the sitemap, wireframe, creative brief, site architecture, and technical briefing then follows it.

The following two months will be the designing process. Conceptualizing the possible outcome will come in this phase; the layout of both desktop and mobile views will also go into place as we want our website to be easily accessed by users, and of course, sample mock-ups will be done so that we can do further enhancements before going through with coding and development. Content creation will be done simultaneously with the designing process for us to deliver on time. Content creation consists of our key message to our users, factual articles, and search engine optimization– this is for us to be easily findable by users.

The development and coding of the actual website will take place for the next three months. After that, our developers will conduct beta testing to check if the website has any issues or bugs that need to be fixed. When everything is settled, we can then officially launch the website. The website will only be maintained monthly to improve the site, which will benefit our users.

We operate the website http://www.truecrimepad.com (unofficial), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms.

Truecrimepad exists and continues to innovate because we always make sure to maintain a good relationship with our audience. CLIENTS OUR SERVICES

The information provided when using Crimeference is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction or country. Accordingly, those persons who choose to access Crimeference from other locations do so on their initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

As per the previous estimate of this project, the company will need a 10% down payment to start this project, followed by a 20-30% payment for the next months to deliver on time. We will need cheques for each payment to ensure that we can pay each department working on this project. Failure to pay or deliver on time will be notified by the legal team of the party afflicted.

Furthermore, taxes and other necessities of the company are not included in the Pricing, Billing, and Legal. The team will send the final total of this project once both parties have agreed upon the terms and conditions.

PRIVACY

By agreeing to this proposal, you agree that our company will have hold of your specific information for our safety. We also value your privacy and security; with that, we will not share, sell, or rent your sensitive information to a third party. Once again, we will be dealing with your legal team for failure to protect any information transmitted to our company.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Submissions: By directly sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, feedback, or other information about Crimeference ("Submissions"), you agree to assign to us all intellectual property rights in such Submission. You agree that we shall own this Submission and be entitled to its unrestricted use and dissemination for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you.

Contributions: Truecrimepad may invite you to chat, contribute to, or participate in blogs, message boards, online forums, and other functionality during which you may create, submit, post, display, transmit, publish, distribute, or broadcast content and materials to us or through Truecrimepad, including but not limited to text, writings, video, audio, photographs, music, graphics, comments, reviews, rating suggestions, personal information, or other material ("Contributions"). Any Submission that is publicly posted shall also be treated as a Contribution.

You understand that Contributions may be viewable by other users of Truecrimepad.

CHANGES

Once our team is 50% in the process of this project, changes will not be entertained anymore. As we have mentioned, we will have discovery sessions for the first month of planning to see if all needs are met.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of the procedure of this project will not be allowed once the team reaches the designing stage of the website. There will be no refund afterward, and a 10% cancellation fee will be charged. Furthermore, failure to comply and reply to our messages will again be dealt with by our legal team.

USERS COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS Truecrimepad aims to adhere to a policy regarding copyright infringement in compliance with the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines or Republic Act No. 8293. If it is discovered that you have been copying and/or distributing the materials uploaded on the platform illegally, we retain the right to block or remove your access to our service. Please notify our customer support (crimeference@gmai.com) if you feel that you have been falsely accused.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any material available on or through Truecrimepad in fringes upon any copyright you own or control, please immediately notify us using the contact information provided below (crimeference@gmai.com).

A copy of your Notification will be sent to the person who posted or stored the material addressed in the Notification. Please be advised that pursuant to applicable law you may be liable for damages if you make material misrepresentations in a Notification. Thus, if you are not sure that material located on or linked to by Truecrimepad infringes your copyright, you should consider first contacting an attorney.

USER REGISTRATION & USER DATA

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to Truecrimepad to manage the performance of Truecrimepad, as well as data relating to your use of Truecrimepad. Although we perform regular routine backups of data, you are solely responsible for all data that you transmit or that relates to any activity you have undertaken using Truecrimepad. You agree that we shall have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of any such data, and you hereby waive any right of action against us arising from any such loss or corruption of such data.

Adolescents under the age of 18 should be under the supervision of their parent or guardian in navigating the website and attending any online events offered by the website.

You may be required to register to use Crimeference. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment: Visa PayPal Mastercard GCash You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via Truecrimepad. You further agree to promptly update account and payment information, including email address, payment method, and payment card expiration date, so we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. Sales tax will be added to the price of purchases as deemed required by us. We may change prices at any time. All payments shall be in Philippine pesos.

A.) Specific Discounts and Membership Trials Students may receive a 20% discount if they are signed in with their student email address.

Users may receive a 30-Day free usage of the site. Depending on the Subscription Tier you have chosen prior, Truecrimepad will automatically charge you, unless your subscription is canceled by the end of the 30-day free trial.

B.) Price Change Truecrimepad has the right to change the prices of its subscription plan at any time. If you are subscribed to a specific plan, pricing changes would only apply after thirty (30) days of the notice.

PRIVACY POLICY

We care about data privacy and security. By using Crimeference, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy posted on the site which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. In compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules and regulations effective since September 9, 2016, all the following types of information are the only ones we will gather: a.) Personal data and information provided by you. When creating an account in Crimeference, relevant information will be requested (such as e-mail address, username, first and last name, and birthdate). You might not be able to use our service if you decide not to supply all of the aforementioned information. b). Information we receive from third-party applications. When you join your account on another platform, such as Facebook or Instagram, we might get information about you from such third-party services. When linking a thirdparty program, you should manage and review it. If necessary, you also have the choice to unlink other applications.

Please be aware that all data and information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Only Truecrimepad will have access to any data that you consensually provide.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, our liability to you for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us. Certain us state laws and international laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages.
